Claire Bernard is a graduate of the University of the West Indies with an MBA in Public Management. She is the Deputy Director General, Sustainable Development and Social Planning at the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ). A Policy Analyst and Development Specialist, her employment at the PIOJ has spanned several portfolios including education, welfare, poverty reduction and sustainable development. Her current portfolio is directed towards the effective integration of sustainable development issues into policy and project formulation and decision-making.
