Lisa Grant

Lisa Grant is an attorney-at-law with twenty years of experience at the Jamaican bar.  She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Politics from the University of the West Indies, and a Master of Laws degree in Comparative Law from McGill University where she studied International Trade Law and Intellectual Property Law.  Ms. Grant worked with the Jamaica National Heritage Trust for 12 years in the capacity of Legal Officer and Director of Heritage Protection, Research and Information during which time she represented that agency on the Protected Areas Committee which directed the preparation of the Protected Areas System Master Plan for Jamaica.  She has also studied Ocean Governance: law, policy and regulation at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada and received a Diploma from the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in Hamburg, Germany being one of seven selected recipients of a Nippon Fellowship.  She has the distinction of being the first Jamaican participant in that programme.  She served as Counsel to the Bureau of Standards Jamaica for 4 years prior to her appointment to Technological Solutions Limited in 2019.  

Mrs. Grant also serves on the boards of the Holy Childhood Preparatory School and the St. Richard’s Infant School.
